two quick questions...
(1) I've been having trouble tracking down the numbers for neurosurgeons' current malpractice average... does anybody know what they might be, or where I might be able to find them?
(2) Ideally, I'd like to go into academic neurosurgery... but I'm concerned about the combo of malpractice and loan debt (private school loans add up REAL fast) being more than feasible on an academic salary. Does anybody know whether malpractice for academic neurosurgeons is typically covered by their university/institution or not?
