Quick question on admissions.
I have a 3.3 overall gpa, but it's been tweaked.
In the fall of 2001 I was enrolled in 17 hours in which I received F's for all courses. I applied and received an academic reprieve for that semester recently which brough my then gpa of 2.67 to a 3.27. My advisor told me that medical schools would be looking at the 2.67, not the higher gpa but could offer no information on optometry schools. Does anyone know anything about this? That's a big difference and will easily make the difference between making it or not making it. My transcript shows FGN (forgiven) for all courses in the grade column that semester. Thanks
