Academic Update, now?

I just finished an extended term class, and received my final grade a couple days ago. My grade would boost my GPA, so I'd like the schools to know about it somehow while they review my application for the first time. I don't know if it's possible to notify them at this point.

Should I notify the dental schools now via email (or phone), or should I wait for the academic update period?

If it is only one class it's not going to boost your GPA significantly. However, there is no harm in contacting the school to see if they will receive an updated transcript directly to their office. Plenty of schools allowed this last cycle, except those that only use paperless systems.

If it's a pre-req, I would definitely try to send it now.

Thanks for the heads up! I'll try contacting the schools on Monday now because it's so late in the day now 🙁

I'm kind of on a bubble with my sGPA, so an extra A would help me out a lot! It's not a pre-req but a lower division science class I took for personal interest/desire.
