Academic update period began today - how to do it though?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I called them up a few months ago about that. I was told that they would notify us through email when th period begins. Are you sure it began today? It says somewhere that it begins mid November, which we're on right now...hmmm

its up now to edit. anyone know how to post another term so i can post my spring courses?

edit... nvm at the top

🙂 all good now

ahhhhh double check all your past coursework! I just realized AASDAS made 3 major mistakes on my application.... 3 of my classes that I made all A's in are classified as 'non-science' when they are supposed to be categorized as 'other-science' ....sGPA deflation! 😱 time to call them up... 🙂

Yea, they did the same to me. They classified one of my math classes as "Credit by Institutional/Departmental Exam" when it was actually a full semester class... lol. They fixed it immediately after they looked over my transcript, but then they had to mail out my app again :/

Oh wow, I'm glad they fixed yours early! 🙂

Oh wow, I'm glad they fixed yours early! 🙂 I'm beating myself up for not catching these errors in July. My wrong sGPA is around 3.3.... My real sGPA should be around 3.4...

Oh yea, how long did it take for them to mail out your application again?

Geez, that's a huge difference! my was only 0.02 off. I'd email them immediately, don't wait for them to check it over during the academic update. They *should* still be working, only 3:58 in Chicago 😉

Yea, I just called them and they said they would check it over and let me know tomorrow. More stress than necessary. I hope schools I interviewed at will get my correct GPA before they make a decision on those who interviewed.

Can I e-submit for this more than once? I have a course form the summer that I completed after my original submit date. My fall semester courses aren't done yet, but I'd love to get the one from this summer in, since it was an A in an 4 credit bio class. So- can I submit for recalculation today and again in a month when my fall grades are in?

I'm pretty sure you can only submit once.

EDIT:

Q: Can I use the Academic Update more than once?

A: No. You can only submit your Academic Update coursework once. Make sure you have the complete results from your spring, summer and fall classes and carefully review your information.

Q: What is the Academic Update?

A: Academic Update (AU) is a window of time when you can provide grades for courses earned since the original submission of your 2012 ADEA AADSAS application. During the Academic Update period, you can provide grades for courses from Spring 2011, Summer 2011 and Fall 2011. All individuals whose ADEA AADSAS applications have been sent to designated schools (application was previously completed and mailed) have the opportunity to take part in the Academic Update. The Academic Update period runs from November 16, 2011 through February 1, 2012. ADEA AADSAS will notify applicants when the Academic Update period opens.

Yes.

How did you guys find errors in your transcript? Was there an actual error in the data listed in the "coursework" section under "Education"? Or did you make your own GPA calculations and find that the numbers are different than those listed in the "GPA Calculations" section?

Also, does everyone else NOT have their actual DAT scores listed in the official scores section? For me, it just lists the date I took my DAT and the date they received my scores but there are no actual numbers there. It says "Please be aware that AADSAS is in the process of receiving and processing DAT scores from the ADA. If AADSAS has received your DAT score from the ADA, you may see it posted to your application as early as June 23, 2011. AADSAS will continue to receive scores after this date and post them to applications as they are received. Please be patient while these scores are posted. "
