Hello everyone. I graduated from my undergrad in May.
my cGPA and sGPA~2.7-2.9ish My DAT scores are AA23 TS25 PAT 23
(bio 22 chem 30 OC 26 RC 18 QR 18)
I applied to 1 year masters in biomedical science for upcoming Fall. and i wont know whether i got in or not for another 2-3weeks.
also, i am gon submit AADSAS very soon and i dont think i should put the masters program until i am 100% sure i am gon be attending.

so is it better to wait 2-3 weeks and include masters on AADSAS, or just submit it for now without it and go through academic updates later on.

Also, i really want to stay around ny/nj area. and i am going to limit myself to 10 schools because i am poor.

my choices are

columbia:xf:
umdnj:xf:
nyu
temple
buffalo
tufts
maryland
pitts
upenn
nova

which schools should i remove/add? (the top 5 on the list stays no matter what you guys say, but feel free to share your opinion)
I have about 50 hours of shadowing and counting.
Few mediocre letters from professors, and one really good LOR from a dentist who is also an associate clinical professor in a renowned dental school.
no awards or honors but i have interesting EC where i went oversea for 6 months and taught english in the rural area for underpreviliged children.
i was arrested for disorderly persons offense for receiving a stolen property without knowing which is like a misdemeanor. It got downgraded to a city ordinance, paid fine& done which is not a crime(my lawyer said it is same thing as getting caught urinating in public) . Do i have to put that on AADSAS?
please share your insight!!

Applying now vs 2-3 weeks is nearly identical.

I'd say you can wait it out to see whats up with the masters gig.

All the best, I have a feeling Columbia will accept you.

Thanks!!!!! gawwwwddd i really hope so.

Yes, wait until you know. Just having been accepted to a Master's program makes a difference. You should do some research or call the schools though because some won't consider you until you finish the program. You should add BU to your list too (and USC if you're willing to go to LA).

Your GPA is really low, but you may be able to squeeze in some interviews since your DAT scores extremely good. As for the question regarding application timeline, I would wait another 2 weeks or so to include it. But be aware that there are many schools out there that will wait to see how you do in your grad program, and with an academic update showing only a semester's worth of grades, your application will stand a low chance at that point if you haven't received any interviews. You should contact UMDNJ as well, b/c I believe they won't even consider you if you are currently enrolled in a graduate program. They want to see you have your Master degree before considering you.
