In my secondary, I'm asked to explain what my academic and nonacademic strengths and weaknesses.
What is the fine line between academic and nonacademic? For academic strength, can I say things like diligency or should I answer in terms of courses/classes-i.e. I excel in math and science?
Also for weaknesses, any good exmaple of wording that answers the question but but not too much to harm the chance that I get in?

Thanks! always appreciate your help!

Best advice I could give you on these types of questions is, first of all, come up with something unique. If you can't point out why you are different from everyone else, the adcom will have a hard time distinguishing you from the rest as well. Also, like you mentioned, don't necessarily play up your weaknesses. Mention them in a positive light, and tie in something that would be helpful to you.
