Hello all,
I graduated last year with a Biology degree and have been doing lab research for the past year. I'm interested in pharmacy and am considering an accelerated PharmD program. Does anyone have experience with these programs, in particular Mass College of Pharmacy? Are there any other programs on the east coast?

Thanks!

I think there is a 3 year program in Arizona.

Check out the Pre-pharmacy FAQ - it has some information about accelerated programs.

Accelerated programs come in (3) flavors:

Accelerated traditional = classes are in the same classic style as normal professional schools - you simply do more of them year round. Example would be South university in GA.

Block style = Classes are taken one-at-a-time. You will take one course, and finish that course before moving on to the next course. Example would be Pacific University or University of Southern Nevada.

Modified Block = Some courses follow the block system while other courses follow a more traditional style. Example would be Midwestern University.

Check out the FAQ and / or conduct a search - a lot of information exists out there for the accelerated programs - especially the pros/cons.
