I've done a search in the forms, there was a thread made...but no answers given yet. I want to know if there are accelerated programs, either for BS/D.O or BS/M.D, that accept undergraduate transfer students into the pathway. I know they are few and far between, but I have had trouble finding any at all and I have been emailing one by one, and it is becoming tiresome. I figured I would see if any of you knowledgeable folk have any info that I do not. I'm in the military, and getting out at a fairly older age and would like to fast and have assurance if at all possible, which is why asking this.

I'm also slightly curious about the same situation for PAs.

Thanks everyone.

Call the schools that have them and ask. All the ones I have seen do not say anything as far as transfers go, and only speak about HS grades- so I'm going to say no. There are schools with linkages, CSU San Bernardino for instance- where if you go there and complete xxx you are guaranteed an interview at Western if you meet xxx.

That being said, your best bet is to get the highest GPA possible and study hard for the MCAT. There are no guarantees in this, even with linkages and BS/DO or BS/MD routes.
