Heres the deal. I have an interview next monday at my 1st choice school. I took a class this fall that I would like the admission committee to see my grade from.

I dont have time to do an official aadsas update. Should I send my transcripts directly to the admissions office of the school?

If that is what I should do - then should I include some sort of letter with my aadsas number on it (like an unoficial transcript matching form)?

I know I can just bring a copy of my transcripts to the interview, but it would be more official for my school to send the transcripts directly.

advice?

is there way to obtain sealed, official transcripts from your school that you could bring with you? if you're on campus that may be easiest. otherwise, i would both send it and bring it, just to be on the safe side. why didn't you already do an academic update, out of curiousity?

Notify them that you will be sending very recent grades. Either get the registrar to give you the official transcript in a sealed envelope so that you can express mail it or overnight it to the school or have them mail it directly to the school. Just let them know why you are doing this and that they might get it again through AADSAS via updates.

Just tell them your grades at the interview, they'll believe you. I mean, who would lie when you'd eventually have to send them if accepted?

Because I've already been accepted to my second choice school and I figured the 1st choice was such a long shot that I wouldnt bother. I hate AADSAS and I hate dealing with it. In my mind, the whole application process was over and I was counting the days till we started... then I get a phone call and an invite out of nowhere. I dont have enough time to get a proper update together.

I am going to have the registrar send an official sealed copy and I'll bring a copy just in case. I'll also be sure to do a real update first chance I get. In the meantime I am going to the interview feedback database....

I did that for all my interviews, and the officials were all OK with that. They just ended up putting the transcript into my file.

When were your interviews, jigabodo? I had one interview in January and before interview the school asked me specifically to send an official updated transcript which meant one mailed directly from registrar.
