I plan on applying for the early decision OT program at USC.
Here are my stats:
University: Cal State Stanislaus
Overall GPA: 3.19
Major GPA: 3.77

I didn't do well my first two years in college but my last 60 units or so I have received mostly A's and a few B's. On the down side I have 12 W's. I have done observation time with an OT and have a LOR from her. Also have excellent LOR from 2 professors. What do you all think of my acceptance chances for the early decision program at USC? Also, my science classes are in progress for Fall but I have completed all the other pre-reqs with A's.

Thanks and good luck to all!

Your major GPA is pretty good.. If I were you I would do some extracurricular activities such as volunteering at different organizations and joining a club.. Also, apply to other schools too just in case if you do not get in USC... Did you take the GRE? USC's OT program is ranked number 3 in the nation, which means the selection process gets very competitive. Good luck!

Thanks for responding. I have heard how competitive USC admission is so Im hoping since I am applying pretty early in the game it will up my chances. I have been involved in a few campus organizations including student leadership. I have not taken the GRE yet hopefully within the next month, I have been studying for it all summer!
