Ok cause it just seems that everyone is from NY who gets accepted. That's good news for me I hope lol.
What I have noticed is that NYCOM has a slight instate preference. That is, most of those interviewed early are NY residents. That does not mean you are out of luck if you are out of state, given you are a good applicant.

Thanks for the insight.
I'm interested in applying to NYCOM this summer but I just wanted to know if anyone has gotten in with a gpa of 3.2?
nychica...lets take the worse possible scenario...you apply to NYCOM and them don't get in and you are out the $$ you spent to apply...no biggie compared to the chance of GETTING IN!
the only thing to do is not think about it and JUST APPLY!!
besides I wouldn't be too worried I had a 3.0 science and a 3.4 overall 30 on the MCATs and got it...
that being said..MCAT MCAT MCAT
oh and good luck 🙂

A couple of years ago someone got in with a 19 mcat score...they must have had one hell of application. Either way, they look at the entire application and the person as a whole. If the rest of your application expresses your desire to be a physician and an interest in osteopathic medicine, I don't think you'll have a problem. Also, if your grades have been improving since freshman year they will look at that positive trend too.
nycom --> first choice!! 😀
