The later I go through the process, the more I believe in what I've called "acceptance karma". After interviews, I've started to believe that the more I "pretend I didn't get in and keep working hard", the better chance I have. I know it sounds crazy, but the post-interview mind games are killing me.

I had the same feeling.

You will get in bud. Keep your head high and enjoy your night. I'll drink one for you tonight. *Cheers*

Its not karma at all. Studies have shown that those who have the mentality that he/she has "made it" tend to go to lesser extents to achieve more. Bragging on social media, for instance, gives you a false sense of "arrival" and achievement that will make you work less hard towards further goals along the same path. Lesson being, don't brag, keep your head down, and celebrate once you are done with it all. Alternatively, celebrate but always keep a mentality of, "this is nice, but I still have a ton of work ahead of me".

Thank you for letting me know, I got a cGPA of 3.8, sGPA 3.7 and MCAT of 505 and I am not sure that I am going to make it to med school.
You should be competitive as long as you're well rounded. I had a 500 MCAT and 3.9 sGPA and cGPA with no problems. Good luck this cycle!
