I heard from recruiter that now the acceptance letter from dental school to complete the kit has to be from the school you are going to attend. Is this true? I thought it could just be any acceptance letter just to get the kit submitted and ready for board review.

You want to get your application in ASAP so as long as you have any acceptance letter you are good to go. I wouldn't specifically tell a recruiter that you are hoping to go to a different school because he might think you may not end up going at all. You can change your school up to a month or so before the school starts. I filled out all the paperwork when I first was accepted Dec 1 and then had to re do everything again in June because the forms did not match, so it's really not a big deal until the Navy has actually paid the school which will not happen until after school starts.

Once we have given a copy of our LOA to our recruiter to complete the application when do the board reviews occur and when is the earliest we can find out if we are selected?

I heard January is when they meet.
