Hey guys,

I dont even know if anyone would know this, but how does the selection process for acceptance/rejection work? Do adcoms and interviewers gather after each interview and select candidates on the same day? Or do they wait untill december to make a decision?

Might be a stupid questions, but i am just curious 😕

Thanks!

each school goes about it differently. some adcoms meet on a specified day of the week at some schools, and some meet after the interview day is over and decide.

It varies from school to school as to when they meet. Some schools meet immediately after your interview while some schools get together a week or so after. Essentially the process is similar for all schools: the interviewer presents you to the admissions committee and the committee votes whether to accept, wait list, or reject. So for interviews, be sure to impress your interviewer so that they will present you in a good light.
