maybe if any of you don't mind to share about your acceptance....we can do this..
briefly say GPA DATscore and what school have accepted you...things like that will help the applicant to get better idea...
thanks~

What scores did you get on each section? I got 18 for AA and 20 for PAT. My GPA is 3.27 sci and 3.30 overall. The problem is that I got 16 for Bio section and afraid I won't get in anywhere
I had a 21AA and 3.54 GPA (I also went two years to a community college for those of you worried about that). I'm a Texas resident and got into Baylor, UT San Antonio, and UT Houston.
I have 22 AA, 18 PAT, 3.67 GPA, 4.0 SGPA. I get accepted to USC, Nova, Temple, Columbia, Boston, Indiana, Tufts, and Pitt.
My suggestion is making your GPA as high as possible even you take "easy" coruses.

the scores for my sections are:
Bio=18
chem=17
Organic=19
Reading=19
Math=16
PAT=17
AA=18
SA=18
I wish i could help you out on this one. All i can say is that i got a 16 on the math section and still got accepted but i don't know if adcom Weighs all the sections equally.

I called Arizona, Case, Boston, OSU, and Louisville I don't remember and they all say that all they care about is overall and total sci scores. Only NYU claims they need 17 minimum to be considered as a competitive applicant. It does sound like BS, they claim to have 19 on overall but their students have a lot worse stats than that.

Yeah You have to remember that they are quoting averages so basically some people are below that average and while others are above. Also since it is an average that means that a few really high scores can scew the average and not necessarily reflect the student body. EX:
data #1
24+24+19+19+17+17+17=(avg)=19.5
data#2
20+20+19+19+17+17+17=(avg)=18.4
As you can see that both data sets have a majority of scores in the 17's but the avg of data#1 is one point higher. I know that this is an over simplified example but its a helpful illustration. Plus, you also have to remember that the DAT and GPA are not the only things adcom's look at.
I have a 19/19/19 on the DAT and a 3.4/3.4 GPA. I got into Nova, Tufts, and BU. I skipped the rest of my interviews after that. I would have gotten more interviews if I would have applied way earlier.
