Some medical schools require a year worth of calculus (calc I and II), others do not. It is my impression that although some schools do not require it, it does suggest a tougher course load to the adcoms, at the end of the day it is your call.

But to answer your question, yeah you can get into medical school without calculus, though it would widen your options to have a year worth of calculus under your belt. I might suggest to take a look at the prereq requirements to the schools you are interested in, you might be pleasantly surprised to see that very few require any higher level maths.

Yes, but some individual schools have specific mathematics requirements. Consult the MSAR for those specifics.

Thanks for the information it is much appreciated.

I may choose the statistics route has anyone here taken statistics is it more difficult than precalculus alg and trig. Would my chances of getting an A better or the same either way?

Don't take a class just cuz someone on here tells you it is easy...

I love math, and I think its super easy. Which is why I took differential equations as an elective... yeah I know crazy.

But some people don't like math. Take stuff that interests you. Plain and simple.

The relative difficulty of your classes will depend on your school and, more importantly, your professsor. You'll need to ask around locally, and ideally look up profs' GPAs.
