I am a non-trad student that was recently accepted to my state school. I was taking additional coursework this semester (not-listed on amcas) just in case I had to re-apply to boost my post-bacc GPA more. Timing and variety of other things happened this past week, so I ended up bombing one of the finals and now have a C as the final course grade. Can or will the school rescind my offer once official transcripts are sent?

Thank you for any input!

Even if it was in a pre req, I don't see why they would rescind your acceptance. A pass is a pass and you've already gotten in! Try not to sweat it.

Remember that med school admissions is a wholistic review process. YOU got into medical school. They admitted YOU the person, not your gpa or stats. They liked you and saw that you would be a good fit for their program. If The difference between your admission and rejection was getting a C in a class, I don’t think you would have been given the offer in the first place. Congrats on your achievement, and be excited for the future!

Thank you & @ftrdr2021 for the kind words. Just nervous because I didn’t expect the things to happen so I really didn’t perform well. Thankful for the A though!
