I have been accepted to UC-Denver's Skaggs School of Pharmacy for the Fall 2014 but I still have 3 prerequisite classes to finish by the end of this semester with a grade C or better. One of those classes is Biochem and I have a particularly difficult professor and am starting to worry there is a chance I may not get a C or above in this class. I always get A's and B's in all of my classes, but even with a curve my Biochem's current class average is 63%!

My question is, what would you do if you were in my situation? Obviously I plan to study my ass off and do all that I can to pass the course, but grades won't be posted until the end of May and at that point the lease will be up on my apartment and I will be ready to move out to Colorado. If I don't pass the class then what would I do?!

Has anyone been in this situation? If I do have to retake the class and reapply to pharmacy school, what do you think my chances of getting accepted again are? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks : )

You need to do at least average. Then you will get a C. If you are doing below average, look at a summer option.

Best case: summer school. But study your ass off first and see the results. Already plan for summer if you're feeling really bad.

I feel your pain. I would talk to your teacher or try to find others who took the course to find out how final grades are usually worked out. I took a genetics class and had a 66 and it turned out to be a B.
