Accepted into a program! But it's candidacy stage do I pay the deposit?

Hey guys I recently got accepted into Brenau! Which in the candidacy stage and I would be the third class which makes me pretty confident they'll gain accreditation. However I just did two interviews at mercer and Emory the week prior so I wanted to see the results of those before I put down my deposits. Brenau wants a decision as soon as possible because they are rolling admission and a lot of seats are filled so they said it is first come first serve? Should I pay the deposit it is $350 and I would go to Brenau over Emory but not not mercer. Will the other schools know I paid a deposit and will effect my chances?? Thanks!

Pay it. It's common to pay a deposit to hold your spot while waiting for other schools to answer. I paid my deposit for MGH (likely going to go), yet I still haven't heard an answer about anything from one of the schools I applied to. Schools can't hold it against you. If they want you, they want you. It'll probably make you more desirable if they see that other schools are accepting you.

Don't be afraid of other schools being able to see it. The answer is they won't. Other schools can only see your offers and acceptances if they accept you.

Yes, I also got accepted to a school with pre-accrediation until 2019. It is a 500 non refundable deposit and goes toward tuition
