I got admitted into a program already and I will be done with my undergrad in about six weeks. I am currently taking 22 credits. Conventional wisdom would be to suck it up and finish but I am just so damn tired; I do not wan't to try anymore.

The reason for all my rhetoric is that if I decide to just 'mail it in' and finish poorly, do you think PT programs, in general, would go ahead and rescind their acceptance offer?

22 credits?!?! My gosh! I totally understand what you are feeling right now. I too have major senioritis but I heard that they do check again to make sure you still have good grades... I think right before you enter? Again this is just what I have heard throughout these forums. You're almost there! Don't give up! You can totally see the light and you got into a school that's deff something to be proud of! 😀

I feel your pain - the end of Physics 2 cannot come soon enough... For my program, it was stated that I have to get at least a 'C' in any unfinished classes to keep my admittance, so I assume there are minimum grades you have to meet for any school to stay in. I think that is their way of acknowledging Senioritis - hang in there and keep your eyes on the prize! (Or whatever other cheesy motivational phrases you need to keep going...) Congrats!

A final transcript is required to show your bach degree has been earned and any prereq. you have outstanding are completed. The prereqs are required for program entry and most, if not all programs require a C or higher (don't accept C-). Kinda reminds me of senioritis in high school where I just wanted to be done and start college.....keep your eye on the prize.

Feel you pain, but if I were you it would be "suck it up" time. Don't give your future professors the impression that you are just going to mail it in. Honestly, the 22cr. semester is good prep for PT school. I think every semester for the first two years is 20cr. or so(depending on the school). Just grind it out, and relax for a good while before DPT school starts.

Ox is right. "Suck it up" time. The first few semesters of PT school will be incredibly loaded, so it is good preparation for PT school. Just persevere through it and relax and go brain dead your last summer before PT school!

I actually called my program today about this very conversation. They said that they really do not care because I have completed all my prerequisite courses. Their rationale was that they accepted me based on what I have already done, not based on what they think I am going to do. Essentially, just finish and get the bachelors. If you are reading this, please do not have the same attitude as me; I am not a good example. That being said, time to "mail it in" haha!
