accepted seat in class, but not attending

Hi, I was just wondering... how many people have paid their deposit for a seat in a class.. just to secure their spot.. but have decided now that they will not be attending?

I am just wondering because NOVA's class is getting full.. but I was given the choice of interview dates til May.

So I was just wondering whether seats are commonly given up as time goes on...
