I'd like to know the g.p.a./PCAT scores of the accepted students and also what schools did you get accepted from?

Can those who've also gotten interview invites also post their g.p.a and PCAT score?

Why does it seem as if people in the pre-pharmacy forums don't like to share their stats? In the pre-dental forums, almost everybody post their g.p.a and DAT scores right on their profile. They even have a few threads and a few polls just for that purpose. I think by doing so will really help those who are going to apply next year.

I would but I haven't been accepted anywhere yet!! :meanie:

I haven't been accepted yet, but I'll post my stats anyway. I've only completed one semester of University.

GPA- 3.8 (4.0 scale)
English- B
Calculus- A+
General Chem 1- A+
Organic Chem 1- A
Biology 1- A

I haven't been accepted either.

Overall GPA: 3.69
Prereq GPA: ~3.3
PCAT: 75 & 76
Courses taken (135 credit hours): All AA general education courses, All general pre-pharmacy courses + Biochemistry, Molecular Biology I/II, Medical Pharmacy I/II, Intro to Pharmacology, Quantitative Biological Methods, Immunology, Pathogenic Microbiology, General Microbiology, Hematology, Neurobiology, and Genetics.

What's ticking me off is how little consideration seems to be given to all these extra classes I've taken for my bachelors... at least that's what it seems like after reading how pharmacy schools eliminate applicants, such as UF.

Interviews with Mercer and UGA in January

Overall GPA: 3.2
Previous degree: Mechanical Engineering
PCAT: 91, taking again in January
No acceptances yet

My school doesn't give any extra consideration, and I don't think they should either. Almost everything is based on the Pre-req GPA, with some tilt with the cumulative GPA.

No, most of the people will hear in January-February. You are one of the early few. I spoke to Student Affairs, that is what they said.
Also I took the PCAT in October, they got these a couple of weeks ago. I applied through Pharmcas in late August and submitted all supplemental material then also.
So, don't freak me out! I just need to wait a bit longer and so does the majority. Remember you are one in a small group to get acceptance this early. Also there are students taking PCAT in January, and UF waits for that also.
