accepted to dental school without an interview?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
i've heard that NYU did that before but did any other school have done that? is it common?

Q2. Also without DAT has anyone got accepted?

i think my dentist was accepted without an interview... but then again that was like 15 years ago

Some may say that Creighton does not require an interview but according to a conversation I had last year with the admissions, they do require an interview. I think the change was made a couple years back.

If you're on Marquette's altnerative list you don't need an interview. I'm guessing this is rare.

I was accepted to Tufts without orgo, physics, intro bio, or the DAT.

i know of my friend who got into dental school without interview but that was because he was on automatic admission program where you have a contract with your undergrad and dental school (i think you had to keep at least 3.3+ GPA and 19 on your DAT). but they do interview you during your undergrad to get into that program, so i guess it depends on how you look at it

i also see there were couple of people on TMDSAS statistics that some of them had no DAT scores but it could be simply because of errors or again it could have been some kind of special program.

i dont think you can apply to dental school and get in w/o interview or DAT, if you're applying in regular AADSAS / TMDSAS ways

Here's a little known secret: if you don't pay the supplemental application fee, they'll let you skip the interview, which is sweet because you save money on airfare.
