Any they give will likely hardly make a dent in total cost of attendance. Does dropping from 160k a year to 130k really change the calculus on whether or not it's financially worth it? Of course not.

Public schools, unless you're OOS, rarely give scholarships that I've seen. Privates are more likely, albeit still unlikely, but don't expect anything crazy.
I think back when I got my acceptance to Pitt back in 2017 my merit scholarship offer was around $10k per year.
You have to think about the math.
Private schools may offer a merit scholarship in an amount that is comparable to your in-state program.
Public schools may offer a significant scholarship if there is a good benefactor that awards candidates that fit the mission.
More money comes after you survive the first year.

@702 Why the dislike?
Bro just dislikes everything on here unless it says OS is the best and everyone else are peasants. Dont take it personally. I swear anytime I see a dislike it’s him.
They could be posting from somewhere in the southern hemisphere. Down there 👎 looks like 👍. Their toilets also flush the opposite direction. Crazy, but that’s the science.

If @Big Time Hoosier ever dislikes one of my posts I'll know I've gone too far.
That would never happen. We all know you’re @Big Time Hoosier’s burner account. The gig is up 😂
