I recently have been accepted to pharmacy school, but there's one problem. In Fall 2012, I dropped a course due to circumstances and received a W. Then I'm retaking this course again right now at the same college for Spring 2013. This course is a pre-req and I was wondering would the school rescind their decision just because of my one W? Should I not mention the W in the academic update, until they receive the real transcript from the school?

As long as you finish the course by the deadline assigned by the pharmacy school, and the grade you receive is good enough, it will be fine.

Should I still academic update the "W" or should I just wait until they receive the actual transcript?

When you update your courses/grades in Pharmcas, then just update the planned courses to show you retaking the course you dropped.

If you are extremely worried about it, then you can always email them and inform them of the situation. However, I would not think they will make a fuss about it.

I actually haven't added the class I dropped for the Fall quarter, because I thought when I dropped it... I wouldn't receive a "W". So should I add that "W" now? Or just add my spring class and not add the "W"? Thanks!

As long as you get a C or above before matriculation, you shouldn't have a problem. Still, I would contact the school and ask.
