I received an admission packet from Tufts and the packet includes 'Dean's certification of Disciplinary History form'....

At the middle of the Dean's certification form, I need to choose either "I waive or I do not waive my right to inspect the contents of the following document"

Is it good for me to waive my right???

I am just wondering which options you guys select....waive?? or not waive??

I don't know why but.....I am getting nervous even after I got in....

i dont even know what it is but I never waive my right to see anything.

I waived my rights. My take on it is basically you can choose to see if you have anything on your disciplinary record, or just let them send it without informing you of what they put down. Generally with anything that is official like that I will waive my rights, similiarily with letter of recs, so that there is no chance that you doctored the documents.

I think it matters little either way. So long as what you put on aadsas is truthful, it should just be him agreeing with you. I would be more likely to waive if i had no disciplinary actions and not waive if i did. if you had no disciplinary actions, they're gonna let you know if your dean says otherwise, whether you waive or not. if you do have disciplinary actions, it might be nice to see exactly what the dean says about it.

I was wondering the same thing. In the end, I decided to not waive my right. For the University of Florida, it seems like if you do not waive your right and you ASK to see the document, you are entitled to. I was worried that they might mix up my record and actually put something negative on the form and then the dental school would revoke my acceptance and I would not know the reason to dispute it. I know, I am paranoid.
