Hey everyone,

I was accepted in the University College Cork Graduate Entry 4 year dental program but I just want to clear up a few things. I want to practice in Canada after but the Dental Council mutual recognition page has me worried as the UCC program isn't listed under the "reciprocal recognition arrangement" despite the Atlantic Bridge website saying it is recognized.

Just to clarify, the 4 year program will give me the equivalent of what would be a DDS here in Canada - correct?

Likewise, what are the pass rates at UCC?

hey sadaf, salam, UCC is in fact National University of Ireland...you can confirm it by taking a look at your offer letter, bottom right hand corner ..let me know if you see it

my only worry is whether the agreement will be extended or not 🙁... it runs until 2017... but it makes sense to say that those who are currently enrolled at an irish dental schools are the last batch of students that will be recognized in canada
