Accepted, when will Certiphi start my background check?

Certiphi informs all AMCAS applicants is that it will start screening accepted applicants on January 1st. It has almost been a week since I accepted an offer of admission, and was wondering when this background check would be procured.

I do not ask out of curiosity, I may need to be in contact with my lawyer in case the screening is not inacurate/up-to-date.

I would reach out to the school that accepted you and ask them what a student in your exact situation (being accepted after Jan. 1) does regarding beginning the background check process.

I called Certiphi about this and they gave me an exact date and time for when I'd get the email. That being said, I don't know how long it takes your school to send the request for students accepted after the new year. I was accepted last year and only got the email in late January.

I got the Certiphi email about a week after I received my acceptance.
