Accepting an emailed offer

I sincerely hope this question hasn't already been addressed, but I did a search and couldn't find it. I have been offered admission at a program via email. I would like to accept but there are no instructions as to how I should go about this. The email is from the DCT and his phone number is listed as part of the signature. Should I call him? Is it OK to email my acceptance of the offer? How do I word such a thing? (This is my first time. 😛) Thanks in advance everyone!

You can call, but I'd be calling to ask when the offer in "real" writing will be on the way...along with funding in writing.
