I received an offer for my top choice clinical PhD program (YAY). They need a written response mailed to them stating my acceptance of their offer. I assume this actually means typed, printed out, then signed by hand (as opposed to writing it all in pen).

I am wondering, does it matter what type of envelope I use or how I orient the paper (landscape, etc). I'm probably overthinking it, I'm just curious since it's going to be folded up and shoved in an envelop, I don't know the best way to make it appear professional.

Go the regular business letter route (def not landscape)....similar to an acceptance letter from a college to you. And get ready to do many more business-styled letters (when you write letters for patients, apply to practica sites, internship, etc.).

Congratulations! Lots of good news on the forum today!

Edit: And you're welcome, mandak.

Also, use standard size paper 8 1/2 x 11 and fold it in thirds to fit in a legal size envelope. That whole cocktail napkin thing no one has done since the 80's
