Accepting An Offer

I am wondering what the proper protocol is for accepting an offer at this stage in the process. I have been emailing with my POI somewhat regularly, since the offer was made, and I know she is eager to get my response. Would an email be appropriate, with a follow-up letter to the DCT?

What I would do is respond in the same way that the offer was made to you (i.e., if your POI called, then call to accept). In addition, you should have received some kind of formal letter from the program which included a form for you to sign and return.

As a side note, if you know you're going to accept this one, do it now so that the other people who are waitlisted there can find out their status.
