Accreditation status

Hello everyone,

I've been looking at some schools and noticed some have no accreditation status or pre-accreditation status. Does anyone have experience with this type of school? Can anyone offer insight about if going to these schools would negatively affect future jobs/residencies/passing national examinations?

I'd like to know as well, specifically for the Thomas Jefferson School of Pharmacy. Currently, it's in a Candidate status, but I'll be applying next fall and I'm hoping that it will reach accreditation status by then. What are your thoughts on this particular school's future status; does it look likely that it'll reach accreditation?

Quick note.. a school can't become fully accredited until it graduates its first class. Might want to check your school info to see when that's going to happen. Also look up status reports from ACPE to see how the site visits are going, etc.
