anyone subscribe to Practical Reviews in Anesthesiology? i think they are affiliated with JHU?? got a mailing from them the other day. never heard of it. its $299 for 12 subscriptions... which i'll gladly pay if the content is half way decent. just trying to figure out ways to conveniently accumulate cme's in preparation for eventual moca. am already subscribed to the ASA's ACE program. thx in advance for any input.

I like Audio Digest and listen in the car.

In 2007 ABA changed bylaws so max cme u can claim is 70 per year for moca.

ACE or SEE with their 60 cme credits is all u really need.

What do people like to use besides ACE and SEE?

I'm in a non-academic setting, so the gimme CMEs from grand rounds and other conferences don't really exist. I also don't like to ruin a good vacation by going to or doing ANYTHING medical related. I don't care if its only for an hour or two a day, or that I can write it off. F@ck that. The most difficult problems I want my brain to face on vacation are along the lines of what's the next drink I'm going to have, and should I have lobster, crab, or filet for dinner.
