Hi, I've been checking this website for a while now and I've decided to create an account today... just try get some advice on my upcoming DAT.

Test is less than 2 weeks away, and I've started taking the Top Score exams. To my dismay, I'm getting:

Bio 16-17
GChem 17-18
OChem 18
PAT 20
Reading 19-22
Math 17-18

I've studied using Chad's videos & his quizzes, DAT Destroyer (2x through), and Cliff's AP Biology. Should I be worried and postpone my test date? Are the top score exams accurate representation of the real DAT? I've read posts where people score higher on the actual DAT then on Top Score, but I just feel uneasy going into the real thing where I can only do mediocre on Top Score.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

before my DAT, i also read posts about how the actual DAT was easier and people scored 2-3 points higher. Unfortunately for me, this was not really the case. I pretty much scored the same on real DAT as my topscore tests with the exception of my QR being lower and my OC being only one point higher.

2 weeks is still plenty of time to study if you really devote. Stop checking the forums but don't underestimate the DAT. If you've pretty much exhausted all your resources and are reviewing over and over, then I say you should take it.

I score about the same on my DAT as Top Score...

Here is my score breakdown:

REAL DAT

AA TS PAT BIO GCHEM OCHEM RC QR
19 20 21 19 18 23 20 17

TopScore

#3--1 weeks before test

AA TS PAT BIO GCHEM OCHEM RC QR
21 19 22 17 19 28 21 22

#2--2 weeks before test
AA TS PAT BIO GCHEM OCHEM RC QR
20 20 23 17 20 28 19 18

But the majority do score slightly higher on the real thing. There was a poll a while back that you might want to search for using the search feature.
