Ace review books?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
ACE books are put out by the ASA, and are retired/sample questions. They are very informative and often, you will see exact duplicates on the actual exam (I think I had 2 or 3).

The term ACE comes from the Anesthesiology Continuing Education course, and this is also a way for post-residency physicians to earn CME, but they are great ITE/written prep questions and they cost about $75 for 200, I think, if you are a resident still

They're not just a good source of CME, they are a Mandatory part of MOCA 10 year cycle. At least 60 (for me) CME credits have to be from ACE.

A new exam/booklet with very detailed answers comes out twice/yr - I think it started in 2005 or 6 - so there should be about 11 or 12 exams available.

Ask your residency director if the residency buys a set of them for the residents to use. They should, and if they don't, consider transferring to a residency that cares about your education and is worth a ****.
