Hi all.

I have been to the ACEP Annual Conference the last two years. Now as a third year student, I was wondering what you guys think. Should I attend the ACEP conference again this Fall in Seattle or the SAEM conference next Spring?

For those of you who have attended both, how do they compare?

Thanks,

ACEP: much bigger, less research oriented, more practice based type lectures.

SAEM: very academic. most of the lectures, etc are based around clinical and bench type research, grants, highly academic. smaller. (I think around 2K or soemthing)

I agree with Roja. You go to ACEP to review, you go to SAEM to learn new stuff. Well actually you go to ACEP to drink with friends you haven't seen in a while. 😳
