there are errors all in that thing!

i take my dat in a week from now.

just took my kaplan final a few days ago. i need some advice

obviously i need to brush up on chem and orgo this week. any other suggestions. all i want on the real thing is about 18-20. do u guys think this will be possible?

i think you will be just find. your scores looks good on the practice test. i didn't took the kaplan course myself, but i heard the kaplan practice exam is much harder..let us know how you do...good luck on it

I used Kaplan as well and those look like really good scores. I had the same type scores on the final as well and I was able to join the 20/20 club. Just don't get over confident with your pat score. I was scoring 23-24 on kaplan and ended up with a 20 on the real thing. Other advice would be to make sure you have a plan for attacking the reading section, your score is a little low for the kaplan and under pressure it gets a lot tougher. Other than that you should be right where you wanna be.

Other suggestions? Work on the PAT. Most people get a 3 point drop in this section from Kaplan or TopScore to the the real PAT.

Yeah. That was weird, I was doing 22 on the PAT during practice, and on the real test, I scored a 20. Something about the computer that just doesn't have the ability to present a straight line. There was even one question which has TWO ANGLES EXACTLY ALIKE. NO KIDDING. I MEASURED WITH A TEARED PIECE OF PAPER. HORRIBLE I SAY.

Hey BA. I have a suggestion. I wouldn't look at the test scores of the diagnostic too much when it gets to your actual test day; I don't do that because I know that I can get too influenced by those scores.

It's not a simple test, so I wish you the best luck.

acethedat has it ups and downs... but not worth the 50 bucks... PAT is good excercise but some of those angles ... hmmm but all in all... yelling at the computer at home ...at stupid arsh questions is better than doing that at the Sylvan Center... on test day... All in all... expect the worst... hope for decent... 😉
