Can you clarify your first question, ortho/para position. Relative to each other or to what?
 
For your stability question
USUALLY (not always)

Most stable is staggered anti
In the middle is gauche
Least stable is eclipsed

Can someone confirm this? Are the two types of eclipsed always least stable?
