Is there an increased Ach esterase in the amniotic fluid in Anencephaly (forebrain anomalies) too like in spina bifida (neural tube defects)? FA doesnt mention it. pg 451 fa

Yes, amniotic fluid acetylcholinesterase will be increased in all open neural tube defects.
