Which one do you think best worth my money?

I have about 4 weeks left before the test. I recently took an MCAT so a lot of the overlapping science materials are still fresh in my memory. What would you recommend me using to prep for the DAT? Currently I have access to a KAPLAN review book from the library, but I would like to have some more diags done and get some other study materials for a change.

Obviously I'm not going to burn myself out by forcing myself to do all three (Achiever, Destroyer & Topscore). Practical advice will be welcomed ~! Thanks!

i have one more section of the destroyer left...then i am doing all the practice tests on achiever and top score...for the last week before my test.

destoyer is really worth it.....shoot....i think all 3 is worth it. you have 4 more weeks...thats more than enough time to do those...i only have 1.5 weeks left...


how bad do you want to get into dental school????

All three are good resources....I have used topscore and destroyer and like both of them alot. I will be using achiever next week. If you are only going to buy one I would recommend getting either Topscore or Achiever because you need to practice some computer based timed test. Timing is very important come test day. The general consensus among users of both progams seems to be that topscore is more representative of your actual scores +/- 2 points. I have heard Achiever is rather difficult but is a good way for you to find out what areas you are weak in.
If you can buy two I would def get Destroyer....I have gone through it twice over the past two weeks and it has helped me out tremendously.

Wow thanks! Well... I had studied for the MCAT for long, and it was quite difficult to cover all my resources from different companies. I still covered about 70% EK, 50% KAPLAN, and TPR 50%. And that took me several months of serious study (towards the exam time, I spent about 10hrs/day of pure studying for about a month straight!)

All in all, thanks for your inputs guys~! Keep them coming if u have more advice. In the meantime I'm going to purchase the Top score and make a study schedule and see if there is room for others ^^!

If you can buy two I would def get Destroyer....I have gone through it twice over the past two weeks and it has helped me out tremendously.

Just a quick question about destroyer - its a book right? Also is it just a book of problems or does it contain full-length tests?

All problems. I highly recommend it for the O and G chem sections. Bio is pretty good too as more random knowledge can only help.

I would actually recommend doing all 3... By doing 1 practice test a day, you can finish Achiever + Topscore in less than 1 week. If you study 8 hr/day that is plenty of time to finish the test and review what you got wrong.

Then you can spend the rest of the time to do destroyer. I have not done Destroyer but I think 3 weeks is enough to finish it...please correct me if I am wrong...

Kaplan is pretty good for the Sciences, but i ABSOLUTELY DO NOT Recommend it PAT Prep, I was doing excellent in the kaplan PAT ( i missed 0-2 in each section) portion and it was the completely the opposite on the actual DAT🙁. Achiver is really challenging but it's really good practice👍. Top Score is also really good practice.

Dude... Achiever takes more than 1 week to finish. I mean doing the problems is one thing but going over what you get wrong takes much longer. At least this was the case for me so far, especially because they lock the screen with the software if you know what I mean... some freaky invention!

Nice tx for that de-commendation 😀 Doing Achievers here. PAT is really difficult. I wanted something like this to give me a good challenge! Good luck to ya 2!
