Hello!

Is it worth it to use the Achiever as a study material or just to see where you are? This program is destroying me. I took notes from Chads and went through the Destroyer twice. The first time with Destroyer was rough but the second time going through the Destroyer was much better and I was getting about 70% correct. But I am getting as low as 12~13 on the Achiever.

Any advice would be greatly appreciate it! Thanks so much and good luck to those who are taking the DAT soon!

Post your achiever scores, it'll be easier to make suggestions after seeing them. Are you getting a 12 AA or 12 on an individual section?
Achiever Scores:

bio/general chem/organic chem/Total Science
Test 1: 14/15/18/16
Test 2: 15/14/14/15
Test 3: 14/15/19/16
Test 4: 12/13/15/14

Aim for 16+ in all sections. Your real score will be 3-4 points higher. RC is super hard. +6 on that lol.

Achiever scores CAN be lower by an X-amount, but I wouldn't take it easy just because you scored a 17 on achiever.
Try different tests, like TSP or ADA 2009 DAT, for a more accurate gauge of where you stand.

I got 14-16 on achiever OC, and I scored 16 on actual. Piss poor performance.

Thanks so much for all your replies!

I noticed that the questions on DAT Qvault are more directly a fact driven question while the Achiever questions are more applied knowledge kind of questions. Is the actual DAT more similar to the Qvault? I know that many people said Qvault Bio was great but I wonder if that's because it leads students to cover more material or because the way they question/word it is very similar to the actual exam.

Hrmm...any thoughts will be greatly appreciated it!

What resources did you use to study bio? It might be worth it to purchase Qvault to see a breakdown of which areas you are weak on to focus your studying.
