Seems like it is missing information to me??

I think it's not too clear. Is it assuming that you don't go to the same restaurant in on different days?
If it assumes that you don't go to the same restaurant on different days, I think it goes like the following:

Let's just assume that the colleague ate at restaurant 1 on monday and restaurant 2 on tuesday. You also have to eat at rest 1 on monday and 2 on tuesday; This leaves you to arrange the 3 other restaurants(Restaurant 3,4,5) for the 3 other days.

Simplifying it, How many ways can you arrange 3 things, which is just 3!=6
Is 6 the correct answer?

If it assumes we can eat in the restaurant repeatedly, then it would be 5x5x5=125. This is because you have 3 other days that can vary. In those 3 days, you have 5 choices each.

The answer was 6, but I had chosen 125. Just felt like it was missing a lot of info.

Plus hypothetically, it doesn't say anything about not being able to have lunch when you aren't working, haha.

But thanks for the explanation.

Haha, yea I guess that's true as well. It definitely needs to be more specific.
