For those of you with Achiever, I was just wondering how your doing on the PAT sections? Their angles and TFE are killer. I just took test 2 and scored a 18. I got a 15/15 on cubes and 14/15 on pattern folding and keyhole. I got 10/15 on their pattern and angles, and like 9/15 on their TFE. My test is in 1 week! I skipped the TFE and angle section, then came back to them at the end and basically ran out of time on TFE.

For my first (and only) Achiever test, I got a 16 on the PAT. On my real DAT, I got a 21. Achiever PAT (well the whole program in general) killed my confidence so much that I didn't even try the rest of the Achiever tests. I think that if I worked at it, I would've gotten an 18 on my second test, similar to you. But I went to TopScore instead and found it to be much more accurate to the real DAT for everything.

However, that's not to say that Achiever is a bad DAT simulation program. It's very good, but it's also very difficult. If you can pull off an 18 on test 2, then you will be set for the real DAT.

TFE, Keyhole and pattern in achiever are much more difficult than the real thing. Cubes and hole punches are little more confusing on achiever (missing cubes, corner connections or half folds). Angles are pretty much on par or maybe a little bit harder than the real PAT.

Don't freak out at all. If you are scoring 18 in achiever you're kickin' ass! Angles was not too bad for me since CDP is insane for those. My achiever scores were in the 17-19 range (17 on the first four tests, 18 on next two and 19 on the last one) and I scored a 23 on the real thing.

Im tweaking out..I just took Achiever Test 3 PAT and scored a freaking 16. :scared: Their TFE, keyhole's, and pattern folding were KILLER. My DAT is on tuesday!

I will let you know how I do on Achiever test 2 tomorrow when i take it.

I got a 20 on the first Achiever PAT test.

I definitely don't like the TFE part of Achiever compared to CDP but I'm glad I'm seeing all sorts of different problems.
I Like the angle ranking of CDP better imo because most of the angles are usually 3~5 degrees difference for a lot of them.
GL bro! YOU CAN DO IT! 🙂

I practice angles everyday on CDP. On this Achiever test I freaking skipped the entire TFE section and came back to it..running out of time as usual. Their pattern folding was ridiculous on this, same with the TFE and keyhole.

oh man ur scaring me haha.. i think skipping it takes more time because ur clicking next next next next.
maybe you just panicked. i agree that the TFE and key hole are a lot more difficult on this Achiever.
I sometimes overlook it and miss little bits of info that could have narrowed my answers.
So maybe try to remain calm and be in the "focused calm zone"
don't panic u will do fine!! get some nice rest bud. it helps 😉

that is a good score on the first achiever PAT test to jamespark. good luck royal pains. and I just upgraded to royal flush edition of CDP because I think I need more practice.

I know for a fact that if I didn't skip the TFE section I could have easily gotten a 17 or 18. I guess I'll just focus just on TFE,keyhole, and pattern.
