Express X in terms of Y for the following:

y = (3x-2)/(x+5)

I attached a file with the answer, but I don't understand how it goes from:

xy + 5y = 3x - 2 to x(y-3) = -5y - 2 😱😱

They did two steps in one. First you gotta isolate all the x's on one side (the left side) and all the other junk to the right side [move 3x to the left and move 5y to the right]. Then you factor out an X. Hope that helped!
