Have you done achiever and if so, On achiever test #1, problem # 82, It shows HBr over hv (light) in the reaction with methylene cyclohexane (simply a double bond connected to one Carbon outside the ring).

It shows that the Br adds to the least substituted Carbon (anti- Mark) by radical addition but the kaplan books shows Free-Radical Halogenation of Br as Markovnikov.

Does it make a difference is HBr or Br2 is used in radical addition? Thanks to all.. good luck to everyone...
