Hey, I am taking my Dat on friday and i am a little worried about the achiever scores i have been getting. For biol i am getting 16 and 17's and for PAT in getting 17 and 18. On topscore and kaplan i was gettng between 20-22 on biol and 20's on the pat. I searched the threads and noticed that achiever bio and PAT and harder then the real dat. I was just wondering how other people scores compares from achiever to the real DAT. I am just trying to gauge where I am at.

Does the real dat have questions where the answers are combinations ex. (I, II, III)?

Also i was wondering how math compares, i read different opinions but i am wondering what you guys think. And if anyone wants to throw in something else about their experience with achiever, please do.

Some questions are like that 1 2 3...Achiever is harder than the real DAT. My scores sucked for achiever like BIO-14-16, GC-15-17 OC-15-18. And I got BIO-20, GC-22, OC-23 on my real DAT so dont worry.

Hey thanks for replying. I do feel better after hearing that. Nice score BTW

I saw that you took the dat twice. Where the achiever tests taken in preparation for the second DAT?

yeah. Big mistake I made for my first DAT was not taking enough practice exams. For the second time around I made sure I was ready with many. Practice exams are key...1 for timing....2 to get the jist prediction of scores. Achiever is hard though. After I got crappy scores tho, I studied harder and tried to retake and I got only a few wrong in each section, so make sure you review. I also used Kaplan online for tests.

What about the other sections of the test? Which practice test do you think represented each section the best? I am especially interested in the math sections.

Umm i think the practice tests out there are made to be harder than the real thing. The reason people might do bad because its the combination of nerves, test anxiety etc...Top score represented the actual DAT pretty well. The BIO can be comparable to all of them but the chemistrys are def harder on the practice tests than the real thing.
