so let me get this straight...

more resonance (stability)--->weaker base--->stronger acid ?

how does reactivity come into play? if a substance is more reactive, would that have any correlation with how acidic or basic something is?

Resonance of it's conjugate base will make it more stable which make it weaker for it's conjugate base but stronger for an acid.
