Oh boy, so did I ever make a big mistake. I've reviewed my PS like 1000x...anyhow, i caught a mistake and i'd already applied to all programs...luckily with the exception of one program had already downloaded my application. i corrected the mistake on the ps and deselected the one with the error and selected the correct one, BUT, when i track applications, i see that both PS's are still available and posted....so, will the programs still have access to the old ps with the errors, even if I've deselected it??? the one program that did download my PS, will they download the new PS?

i can't believe I made the error...i guess i just overlooked it...ariee= douche-bag! 🙁🙁

thx...

I am a bit confused. As of now I have my personal statement loaded into ERAS but have not selected any programs to attach it to. If I do attach the PS to my selected programs but have not certified or paid any money, and at this point find a mistake, is it too late to just fix the error and proceed on to certify and pay the money to transmit?

The answer to the bold is no, you can still correct at this point.

However, I paid and can not edit the PS anymore, so I went ahead and corrected the PS and saved it as another title and deselected the orginal and selected the correct one. I have a back up speciality and the PS was incorrect for 4 of my back-up specialty programs...In my case the question is: If the program has not yet downloaded my PS before I deselcted it and selected the correct one, will the program still have access to both PS's or just the correct one???

Programs will only get the selected PS. Even for programs that have already downloaded your application and PS, the new one to overwrite the old one. However, if the programs that have downloaded your application have already printed it, they may not realize there is an updated PS.

My understanding, which could always be wrong, is that the programs who have not downloaded the mistake ps will never be able to see it; they will only see the corrected one. The reason your old ps is still showing up is that the one program did already download it. HTH.

^ that did help, thank you, you 2! i think i'm in the clear...
