whew totally understand you there! except i'm picking up my life and moving to a 3rd world country. all those little details ya just didnt know existed!

that and i panic about not being able to handle the course load all the time. whee!

So. My school just sent out registration info and whatnot. I'm having one of those WhatDidIGetMyselfInto moments.

lol I was thrilled when I got all my registration information. It makes it all seem all the more real that my dreams are coming true!🙂

I totally remember that... I think most people go through periods of being unsure if it's the right path, if they can handle it... it usually works out ok though.

(coming from someone who was convinced I couldn't do it and just finished first year today).

Last week already, I woke up from a nightmare that I got the lowest grade in the class on the first test. And when I think about the fact that I am going to be starting vet school in the fall, about half the time I feel like throwing up and the other half the time I feel like jumping for joy...Glad I'm not the only one who feels insane right now.

We can do it!!😀

loans, foreign diseases, 2 suitcases, new computers, rabies vaccinations, passport, customs/taxes, supplies, new place, new everything!

just think, last year it was applications, supplementals, LORs, GREs, and $$$ haha seems infinitely easier in hindsight!

I much rather be in your position right now!! I am so stressed over GRE''s, LOR's and PS's !!! All doing it to get to where you are! 😀

I still have those moments. Especially when I see my loan amount. And those moments when I truly, truly HATE school. Those moments come at 3am when I'm studying cow diarrhea.

But today (on my first rotation) I got to suture up a hawk's wing, close a wound on a beaver, x-ray a frog, watch a rabbit get radiation therapy, and introduce myself to a client as senior student. A real client, who told me "thank you for looking after my animal."

That made it better 🙂

(I'm on the exotic animal rotation if you can't tell) 😉

I just started looking through the book that I got for the summer anatomy class that NCSU offers. As I was looking through, I'm going "OMG, do I have to know all of this?" and then realizing that the actually anatomy class this fall will be far more in depth....
I just keep telling myself what the anatomy professor told me at our class's welcoming party: "We picked all of you because we know that you can handle the courseload."

Anatomy will make a lot more sense when you have the actual animal in front of you. It will be ok 😀

Just filled out my second round of loans... get used to it...
