Hi! I noticed that a lot of residencies require you to have Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification (ACLS). Do residency programs normally pay for that or do you have to get that training in advance? When would you recommend someone take that class?
 
I'm not sure about other schools, but at DMU you take this class during your 3rd year
